Right from the entrance with its wooden bench with colorful faux leather seats and the hanging signage, to the art installations created in metal wireframe with movie dialogues, Ronnie Screwala’s office exudes a fun vibe that inspires creativity, as a film production company should. The inside is zoned into two areas, one for the administrative department and the other for the creative department with meeting rooms and cabins for directors. The flooring is a combination of wood finish tiles in a herringbone pattern and large grey vitrified tiles in a rectangular grid pattern.
An interesting feature is the suspension of acoustic sound boards from the ceiling, which serves a dual purpose of sound absorption and enhances the design. A large world map canvas in the cafeteria and the installation created out of a line from Ronnie’s book, “Dream with your eyes open” adds a quirky charm to this contemporary yet warm office space.
